Half a million people flocked to Stuttgart’s city centre on 2 and 3 October 2013 to celebrate the Day of German Unity. For us it was a home game, because as local specialists we equipped the civic festival with the appropriate LED technology. For the open-air concerts on Schlossplatz, a 34 m² screen formed the stage backdrop. In addition, there was a mobile LED system with a 56 m² screen. Finally, a third video wall was installed on the market square, next to the SWR stage. Here, too, a mobile system was used, the ScreenBox26 with an integrated 26 m² screen. While the video walls were used for the concerts in the evenings, they served as advertising and information surfaces during the day or were used by SWR.
As marketing specialists, we supported the project weeks before the holiday and set up the Vidibox on Schlossplatz. The complete promotion system acted as an info box before and during the civic festival and, thanks to its integrated LED technology, was also able to inform and entertain from afar.
