As specialists for AV technology from Stuttgart, we accompanied the rapper Sido together with our long-term partner epicto across Germany in 2015. At all thirty stops on the “Liebe Live” tour, we made sure that the images – as in one of Sido’s songs – were not only in your head but also on the screens in high-resolution quality.

Special LED modules were used in large venues such as the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin, the Sparkassen-Arena in Kiel and the Nordseehalle in Emden. A total of 220 m² of the latest 10 mm LED material was installed. This celebrated its premiere with us in Baku at the 1st European Games. Another icing on the cake was the newly acquired 3.9 mm LED system. Two DJ consoles each put 3 m² of it in the limelight. The special thing about it is that the modules can be used flexibly, so that nothing stands in the way of convex and concave shapes on stages all over the world.

Together with the planning office United Network Development (U.N.D.) and the duo Jäckle/Krauch, who developed the lighting and stage design, the Sido tour was planned down to the last detail in the epicto GmbH show laboratory. Here, the complete stage was set up in advance in a 1:10 model, the lighting was programmed and the videos were played. Such a virtual studio offers the possibility to put the technical settings for a show through their paces. This ensured that the show ran smoothly.
