We all love new ideas. And when they also taste chocolaty, we think that’s twice as great.
Mondeléz, the company behind the Milka brand, launched two new chocolate bar compositions in October 2015: Milka Collage Caramel and Milka Collage Raspberry. To promote the products throughout Germany, Mondel?z relied on our Vidibox. Branded in Milka purple and offering a personalised bar of Milka Collage, the Vidibox caused long queues of people in nine cities, on a total of eighteen days. A total of 13,530 chocolate bars were distributed.
In the Vidibox, passers-by could have photos taken of themselves. The portraits taken were randomly combined with pictures stored in the programme. In the style of a real “collage”, this resulted in the craziest shots, which could be seen in real time on the 16 m² LED screen. The resulting images were not only available for viewing on the screen, but also printed on the packaging of the Milka collage.
In addition to the appropriate branding, we took care of the rental of the stand space, the logistics and the staff. We also provided the photo technology and the programming for the personalised print. The Hamburg agency D&K Brand Activation was also involved in the implementation of the roadshow. The collage tour was flanked by a city light poster campaign, conceived and booked by BrawandRieken and Posterscope Germany. The upcoming tour stops were thus announced in advance. The short stand times of two days per city and the tight timing between the tour stops were a very special challenge, which went smoothly thanks to the excellent organisation.
