Technology used

4,000m² giant poster including 100m² LED video wall, with direct transmission of fan images.

Under the motto “Become part of the Coca-Cola fan curve”, the beverage giant and UEFA sponsor called on fans to get creative in the run-up to EURO 2012. They could create a “Crazy Character” from a portrait photo on the campaign website, an individualised, funny fan figure. The most original creations adorned huge Coca-Cola fan posters in Berlin and six other major German cities during UEFA EURO 2012.

The special feature in the capital: 100 m² of LED material were integrated into the poster – installed and managed by us. Thanks to the video wall, additional “Crazy Characters” were created with passers-by and shown live on the fan poster. In addition to the technical planning and implementation, we were also responsible for the content management including video direction and the corresponding promotion campaign. A promotion team provided by us ensured interactive fun on site: equipped with camera and WLAN technology, the promoters encouraged passers-by to have their picture taken. They sent the photos directly to the video wall.
