Wireless Festival
Since 2005, Wireless has attracted tens of thousands of music lovers to London´s parks. In June, the German version of the event took place for the first time – and we were there as experienced LED technology specialists. 40,000 fans celebrated a huge two-day party with national and international urban and pop music.
LED power for the stage stars
Various screens were used for different stages. These included a 126m² LED backdrop, complemented by 70m² of LED decoration, another 6x6m² LED backdrop, and a 59m² LED screen.

40.000 fans celebrated for two days
During an intensive and complex project planning phase, detailed discussions were held with management regarding LED usage and content implementation, in additional to safety-related aspects.
A 126m² LED backdrop with a 4.6mm pixel pitch from INFiLED was used on the Main Stage. Additionally, 70m² of LED decoration provided luminous moments and an effective staging for performances by artists such as Colombian reggaeton star J Balvin, US rapper Cardi B, and Latin trap musician Khea. On the Second Stage, we used a backdrop with 66m² of LED screen with a pixel pitch of 10mm, using P10 solid material, provided another visual highlight for visitors on the Snipes Urban Vibes Stage.
The six-person team of experienced technicians and a project manager ensured smooth operations on site during the extremely short set-up phases between acts. Close collaboration with the artistic team as well as the sound, lighting, and video departments was essential for this.
