A MEMORABLE CLOSING CELEBRATION FOR THE 1ST EUROPEAN GAMES IN AZERBAIJAN

17 days, 20 different sports, 6,000 athletes from over 50 countries: between June 12 and 28, 2015, the European Games were held for the first time in Azerbaijan. They ended with a spectacular closing ceremony in front of 68,000 spectators at the capital Baku’s new Olympic Stadium. As well, there were performances by international music greats like John Newman, Clean Bandit and DJ Gareth Emery.

The secret stars of the closing event were 450 m² of a new LED floor. Its slip resistance makes it the ideal equipment for any event inside or outside. The innovative mask, with its black colour, achieves excellent contrasts. With 3,000 Nit at a beam angle of 140° and a 20-bit driver with a new type of driver chip, this LED floor is currently unmatched on the market. Along with the closing ceremony, we also integrated LED technology for the sport competitions.
